Description
The System B+ is tailored specifically for the 1966-77 Bronco, providing an optimal lift solution that improves off-road capabilities without sacrificing on-road comfort. This system features premium 11 Leaf Progressive Rate leaf packs in addition to 3.5″ progressive rate coils, ensuring a smooth ride across diverse driving conditions. The components are engineered to work in unison for maximum performance and usability, whether you are a daily driver or an avid off-roader.
Included in the lift system are:
– 3.5″ Progressive Rate Coils (available in Blue or Black) – Made in the USA
– 7° C-Bushings
– New Strut Arm Bushings
– New Trac Bar Bushings
– New Spring Eye & Shackle Bushings
– Trac Bar Drop Bracket
– 11 Leaf Progressive Rate Leaf Packs (available in Medium or Heavy Duty) – Made in the USA
– U-Bolts
– Choice of 4 70/30 Auto-Adjust Shocks or 4 MS2020 Shocks
The design of this lift system assumes use with a Bronco Hardtop and a 302 engine. Variations in weight, such as a lighter 6-cylinder engine or added components like winches or heavy bumpers, may influence the resulting lift.
For optimal performance, consider upgrading the stock rear stud mount shocks in ’66 models to part numbers #5500, #5215, or #5214.
Q: How do I know if I need heavy or medium-duty leaf springs?
A: Check our FAQ page for detailed guidance on selecting the appropriate leaf springs.
Q: Will I need sway bars?
A: After increasing suspension height, body roll during turns may be apparent. While this is normal and safe at low speeds, for enhanced control at higher speeds, we recommend installing a front sway bar.
Q: Do I need frame to axle extended brake lines with this kit?
A: If you haven’t upgraded your brake lines yet, this is a good opportunity to consider it.
Q: Do I need E-brake cables?
A: While not technically necessary, it is advisable to replace your original cables if they are worn, particularly for off-road use.
Q: Do I need new driveshafts?
A: Every Bronco is unique. Assess whether your driveshafts are adequate, or contact us for specific inquiries.
Q: Should I replace my steering during installation?
A: Yes, we highly recommend it. Explore our heim steer systems or our bumpsteer eliminator kit for optimal steering functionality.
Q: Do I need pinion shims with this lift?
A: Not typically required, but we offer pinion shims should the need arise.
Q: Do I need to move my rear axle back when lifting my Bronco?
A: Generally, uncut Broncos with rear cut fenders do not require this adjustment. Check our weld-on leaf spring perch options for potential axle relocation and additional lift.

Without doing too much research it became obvious that DuffTuff offer the best suspensions in the game for broncos. Once your lift kit arrives it’s not hard to see why. Everything is top quality, the blue coil springs look like a million bucks, the rear leaf springs are skookum as all hell. This is my first early bronco to ever work on. Years ago I had a jeep and I went the cheap route on suspension and learned my lesson… buy once, buy Duff, you’ll never regret it.

I have driven an Early Bronco for 25 years and I have ordered products from all the EB parts shops. I appreciate the expert advice and great products you guys offer and build. I love my 3 1/2″ lift I bought from you and I was impressed with the thought and care you put into including the little parts and pieces that could bring a project to a halt. Keep up the good work.
