Information
Looking for the best exhaust to run with the Duff’s/Drake short tube headers for your early Bronco? This is it. We’ve taken our aluminized Dual Exhaust kits and made them into 304 CNC Bent Stainless.
After 20 years of selling our incredibly popular dual exhaust, we decided to give the kit a few updates and upgrades. We separated the back pipes from the muffler back into 2 sections allowing for options on the tailpipe exit angles and their easy removal & installation for trail riding to avoid tearing them up. If you do smash one of the tailpipes on the trail you can purchase new replacements here. It comes with mandrel-bent 304 stainless 2 1/4″ diameter pipes and mufflers of your choice: Magnaflow or Borla.
Fits whether you have a 302 or 351W, stock or heavy-duty aftermarket motor mounts, stock-3″ body lift, our Extended Radius Arms, Torque Tamer Traction Bar, 4″ Rear Bump Stops, and the new LCR SS20 gallon gas tank. Also fits other aftermarket larger main gas tanks up to 23 gallons.
Use the drop-downs to configure your exhaust. If you have a non-standard engine-transmission combination, please use the notes section at check out and we’ll contact you if there is a fitment issue.
NO WELDING REQUIRED, can be installed in your driveway. Exhaust pipes exit just behind both rear wheels, choose 65° or 90° angle.
Comes with instructions, hangers, and mounting hardware. Â
Muffler choices:
- Magnaflow Stainless Steel: MagnaFlow performance mufflers are designed to provide your Bronco with more power and a nice, resonant mellow deep sound. These mufflers feature a large-diameter, perforated stainless steel core with a straight-through design-for unrestricted flow and sound control. All contact points are lap-jointed and welded to avoid distortion or cracking at the seams. Mufflers are constructed from 409 Stainless steel.
- Borla PRO XS Stainless: Compact size is perfect for applications with limited space. Reversible design for installation flexibility. High-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel will never rust. 100% welded construction for strength. Free Flow design for improved performance. High-temperature continuous-filament fiber (CFF) acoustic material for sound control. Natural mill finish can be brushed or polished prior to installation. Deep mellow rumble then quiets down during cruising.

FAQ
Q: What add-ons should I consider before purchasing this exhaust?
A: If you are purchasing the raw stainless finish headers. We highly suggest wrapping the headers in heatshield products lava wrap to keep the heat out of the engine bay and off the floorboards. We also highly recommend installing the premium header bolts (3082) and Remflex Gaskets (3050) for a trouble-free installation.
Q: Is this system compatible with SS Dominator Headers?
A: No Please see 3141.
Q: Is this system compatible with other manufactures headers?
A: No. It is only compatible with the Duff/Drake shorty header (3106)
Q: Is a lift required for the installation of this system?
A: No, this exhaust will work at factory height.
Q: Can I get this system with tail pipes exiting the rear?
A: No, tail pipes that exit the rear will allow exhaust fumes to enter the passenger compartment on Early Broncos.
Q: I want to buy ceramic or cerakote headers for my new engine will that be a problem?
A: If your new engine requires a break-in period when first fired up then you do NOTÂ want to install new ceramic or cerakote coated headers. use a pair of old manifolds or headers for break-in.
Q: How will I know if my new engine needs to be broken in?
A: If the new or rebuilt engine has a new flat tappet cam installed, it will need to be broke in. If the new or rebuilt engine has any roller cam it does NOT require a break-in
