Kit comes with everything needed practically, waiting on u-bolts to show up so i can install them but so far I’m very happy with the way the parts look and from mock-up everything will work wonderfully

My lifted Ranger had terrible axle wrap and slop in the driveline between shifts and on/off the gas. Being a manual stick shift it was very annoying to constantly hear/feel the clunk ever time I’d shift or lift my foot off the gas. I was also getting some vibrations in part due to axle wrap/pinion angle issues. This traction bar kit completely eliminated the slop and axle wrap, some vibration still present but I think it’s due to the previous axle wrap ruining the U joints. The truck feels much better while accelerating from a stand still, much firmer with more grip. I love the way it shifts now with much firmer feel. The overall handling of the truck feels much better. Very easy to install and directions were very clear and all hardware was there and packaged nicely, and it looks great on the truck too. Thanks for a great product/design, would definitely buy again and recommend to others.

An order for Ranger traction bars was received in a USPS flat rate box. The box was totally destroyed, open on one end. Fortunately all parts recieved, but could easily have been different. Please suggest using more tape on these heavy packages.

I’m happy with these traction bars. My Ranger is all stock. It is night and day after install of traction bars. Braking feels better. Don’t feel the axle wrap. The back seems to be more stable at highway speeds when on rough roads. Very easy install with basic tools, besides a torque wrench.

For people like me who have older Rangers, you can’t know how much you need these until put them on your truck. The difference they make in ride and handling is remarkable. I drive every day on concrete roads laid down in the 1940s with seams between the sections that would make the rear end jump a couple inches sideways. These bars completely eliminate that. On moderate to hard acceleration, I never appreciated how much axle wrap was happening until I installed these. Now the axle stays centered and it sure feels like the truck is faster off a standing start. Tracking through curves is greatly improved. We don’t have off-road trails where I live, but we do have the privilege of driving on Atlantic Ocean beaches. These bars made an already good beach truck into a real performer. Just a word of advice: make sure your spring shackle brackets are sound, not rusting away, and that your leaf springs have good life left in them. I had my mechanic assure me I was good to go to add these traction bars. It took me about 90 minutes per side to install. Not bad for a 58 year old guy with a bad back and bursitis in one elbow, so definitely, they are easy to install!
