When ordering, please note that a knuckle mounting kit must be selected separately, as the new Heim steer system does not include mounting bolts. This design allows you to allocate your budget toward our NO DRILL knuckle mounting options. Should you opt for above-ball joint (TRO) installation, it is essential to drill out your knuckles.
Compatibility is confirmed for ’66-’77 Broncos equipped with a factory-style frame, steering gearbox, and front axle. If your vehicle lacks any of these components, you may need to measure and potentially consider a custom setup.
A key improvement in the updated system (model #5641C) is the compatibility with a steering stabilizer. Units sold prior to February 2022 (model #5641B) lack this feature. For additional support regarding older models, please contact our tech department.
