Description
Designed specifically for the 1966-77 Bronco, this receiver hitch integrates seamlessly into your vehicle’s framework. The innovative mounting brackets, updated as of September 1, 2020, now include a third mounting point on each bracket, which enhances stability and security.
When installed at the rear, the hitch accommodates the original layout of the Bronco’s frame. However, please note that the frames of 1977 models will require trimming to facilitate mounting. If you are considering front installation, please be aware that modifications may be necessary. Additionally, for 1976-77 models, slight adjustments to the gas tank skid plate are needed.
The hitch features a durable satin black powder-coated finish, ensuring longevity against wear and tear. It is important to mention that this product is incompatible with Plate or Prerunner style bumpers and is intended for use with an OEM-style bumper. Additional hardware is included for your convenience.

Took me about an hour to install this hitch. Simple as taking the bumper off, and sliding the hitch between the frame rails, then putting the bumper back on! Uses existing holes so very simple to install. I have a 74 bronco and I had to cut about 2 inches off my gas tank skid plate to make the hitch fit. Other than that very install and very good looking and sturdy hitch. Couldn’t be happier!
