The original 302 spacer was 1/2″ thick which is what was needed using a 302 water pump and brackets. I assumed from the picture on your site the steel on this bracket measured 1/2″ thick. The bracket was 1/4″ thick with a 1/8″ nut protrusion on one side giving a total of 3/8″ total. I had to add 1/8″ lock washers between the head and bracket to get the 1/2″ thickness needed for a perfect fit. Other than that everything worked fine. The price was great compared to what a local machine shop wanted to make a 1/2″ thick steel piece with three holes in it. Thank you for carrying this product.
