Designed specifically for the 1973-77 3-Speed with a J-Pattern transfer case, this shifter addresses common issues associated with stock column shifters, such as misalignment from bent rods and troublesome release pins.

Key features include a reduced throw of 4 inches, complemented by a 1-inch right offset that ensures extra legroom, solving the problem of knuckles hitting the dash.

Installation is straightforward, although the shifter is designed for a V8; the rods can be modified for a 6-cylinder engine by shortening them by approximately 2.5 inches through cutting, overlapping, and rewelding. Included with your purchase are essential components such as the rubber boot, bezel, walnut knob, and decal. An optional white fiberglass tunnel cover is also available for an additional charge. This product can be used in conjunction with the stock transfer case shifter or paired with our transfer case shifters for enhanced compatibility.
