The 9″ Skid Plate is engineered specifically for 1966-79 Ford Broncos, ensuring optimal fit and performance in even the most demanding terrains. Installation is simplified with a two-piece design: the mounting bracket securely affixes to the housing studs, while the skid plate itself is anchored using pinion carrier bolts and countersunk bolts for a sleek, smooth sliding surface. Solid. It is the best skid plate I found and it will protect your diff without question.

Protection were needed! No one wants to break a drive shaft and this protects the connection to the diff and also provides protection to the diff. Easy bolt on install and being a 1/4” has taken a beating and hasn’t bent.

Very slim line while being very heavy duty. Doesn’t really affect the ground clearance being so tight to the differential.
Will take all the abuse I can dish out to it and then some.

Very stout and well built, aligns and fits perfectly. Primer & Paint give it a nice finishing touch. Will provide extra protection to the rear diff.
