Simply the best kit on the market. The longer hood bracket helps prevent the middle hood edge cracks which can occur even with the stock setup and worse with the tiny hood bracket kits. The only regret will be not doing it sooner. Install advice is measure twice then drill carefully.

They only recommendation for improvement is they need to include a bolt for the fender bracket instead of having to try and use the existing fastener. Other than that it’s a great product

Absolutely one of the best modifications I have done on my 1974 Ford Bronco. Had a small hairline crack developing causing the hood to flex. Once I removed the old hood struts and installed the Duff ones, the flexing was eliminated and the hood is very rigid. I would highly recommend this mod for any Early Bronco. Lastly, follow the directions and read twice – drill once.

Installed these on my 66. Look great and work great! I had tucked my radiator for clearance so the prop rod wasn’t an option. What I like about this is that it adds additional bracing to the hood. Install was straightforward but getting the nuts on through the access hole can be a challenge for people with sausage fingers.
