A shock developed by the industry leaders of Bronco suspension takes you beyond a simple hydraulic shock absorber. This new shock delivers the high performance of a high-pressure monotube gas shock in an affordable package. No need for expensive remote reservoirs, our Midnight Black Monotube Shocks provide a nice comfortable ride on the street while providing the extra dampening needed when the going gets TUFF.

  • High-pressure monotube gas shock
  • Durable, salt tested, black powder coat
  • It will not oxidize like other zinc-plated shocks on the market
  • Comfortable on-road driving and off-road dampening
  • Eliminates the need for 2 shocks per corner (in several applications)
  • American-made, budget-friendly shock
  • Includes Black Dust Boots

James Duff’s Midnight Black Monotube Shocks are the first and only shock specifically designed for Bronco’s coil & leaf spring suspension. It features a 14mm chrome-hardened piston shaft for superior rigidity and minimal seal wear, polyurethane bushings, the shock body is constructed of 2″ diameter tubing for excellent heat transfer, and the outside of the shock has a durable Black powder-coated finish. Inside, the massive 1-3/4″ diameter piston has progressive valving that is tuned to provide a smooth ride on the road but has the ability to quickly step up the dampening and effectively smooth out the bumps off-road.

Combining race technology with advanced manufacturing techniques, Midnight Black Monotube Shocks absorbers are an unbeatable value, especially when considering that most other shock absorbers on the market are made overseas with inferior materials. Midnight Black Monotube Shocks are Made in America and Trail Tested Duff Tuff!

I bought these to replace my 70/30 dual shocks in the front of my SAS Bronco II… not only do they look awesome they handle amazing. After install we did a snow wheeling trip and there were crazy whoops bumps etc and it felt like I was driving a while different vehicle. Soaked up everything so well! Highly recommend these shocks! This is a 15% road 85% off road rig and I love the way these shocks function.

Was having trouble fitting the 70/30 shocks on my ranger SAS with full width D44. Tech dept helped me size up some MS2020 shocks to fit shaft down and have more clearance. Fit great and quality to match!

    Best money spent hands down!
I just installed on the front. Still waiting for the rears to ship.
Ride quality is a night and day difference coming from the 70/30s

These shocks are fantastic! I like that they are black in color so it looks like it could be a stock part. I installed these on the rear of my 78 f150 and paired it with the stem/eye shock adapter. The truck rides amazingly well now! I can’t wait to purchase fronts and see how it rides overall. Highly recommend these!

Pavement princess here so can’t comment on offroad, but got these to replace my Bilsteins. These are better. Less body roll now. Not much but noticeable. And they look good.

Great shocks bought for my SAS explorer to replace bilstien and made a big difference in driving and ride great shocks

  8. Tony Mele

Finally made the switch from my Bilstiens. Honestly expected a bit of improvement, but the difference is remarkable. Significant reduction in body roll. Everything about the suspension seems tighter and firmer, but at the same time hitting the road bumps somehow seems to radiate less shock to my truck instead of more. Tight and smooth! Truck feels like I’m driving on rails on the big twisties. Very impressed. I should have done this when I added the Dual Sport Bump Steer Eliminator system, as the combo has been the best thing I’ve done, hands down.

Getting ready for a 12 hour trip to OCBR in a couple of weeks. I can tell already in the first 50 miles driving around town that these are going to make the ride much more enjoyable.

I finally installed a set of MS2020 shocks on my 69 Brumby.
Wow, I can’t believe the improvement I noticed. Feels tight all the way around, the ride on good pavement is smooth, road control is just awesome. I drive gravel on my road and it gets washboard, these shocks handle that so well that you can keep driving without slowing way down. This is a quality product, definitely worth the investment.
